Based on the experience from previous years, most of our participants, unfortunately, didn’t know even basic things about the stock markets. Honestly speaking, we, organizers of the iGame 2014 didn’t know really much either and submitted random trades for the sake of seeing account profit figures going up and down.

Well, we don’t want the same situation to repeat this year. Therefore, we decided to pour some lights on the field of investments in the stock market. We don’t claim VIP members at Tropez will have access to special VIP promotions, higher comp point conversion rates and faster withdrawal times. that now we precisely know how to invest and in which securities (and no one knows),

but we can try to put some issues for the blog discussion in order to encourage our players to investigate the world of publicly traded companies on their own. Most of the material is a compilation of what we have read or seen in the books or on the Web. In some places we might add our own judgment about things. So, first, we would encourage you not to accept all that you see here as the “universal truth” and, second, to challenge us, make remarks and ask questions. Don’t forget that we don’t hold PhD’s in Finance and the main goal Investment Game is to learn from your peers and share your knowledge :). We try to organize it in a way that every participant, from beginners to professionals, will be able to find something new or look at the very well known things from a different perspective.
